Cookie Policy
This policy explains what we store on your device when you visit whiteswansecurity.com, why, and how to control it. Last updated August 2026.
What This Policy Covers
Most "cookie policies" describe a pile of third-party tracking cookies. Ours is short because our footprint is small: whiteswansecurity.com does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies today. Here is exactly what we store, and why.
What We Actually Store
| Name | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| whiteswan-cookie-consent | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it doesn’t show again on this device. |
That’s the entire list. This value is stored using your browser’s localStorage, not a traditional HTTP cookie — it never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party.
Third-Party Pages We Link To
Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are hosted by Termly, a third-party policy-management provider. If you visit those pages, Termly may set its own cookies under its own policy — we don’t control that. Datasheets and whitepapers you download may link to hosting providers with their own cookie practices.
If That Changes
If we add analytics, advertising, or other tracking technology in the future, we’ll update this page first and adjust the cookie notice to reflect what’s actually running — not a boilerplate list of categories that may not apply.
Managing or Clearing This
Clear your browser’s local storage for this site at any time to reset the notice — it will reappear on your next visit. Every major browser exposes this under Settings → Privacy → Site Data (wording varies by browser).
